Johnson / Evinrude Replacement Lower Unit — Ocean Pro Intakes
Finish: Black (paintable to match your outboard)
Fitment
- Uses Ocean Pro–style water intakes.
- Fits models 1978 and newer (does not fit units older than 1978).
- Bullet diameter: 4-3/4".
- Will not replace Magnum or Lightning cases.
Not Included
- Upper driveshaft — If your old unit has a one-piece shaft, you’ll need to purchase an upper driveshaft. Please scroll down to see optional shafts.
- Water pump — Not included. Please scroll down to purchase the Water Pump Kit.
- Shift shaft — Not included. Reuse your original shift shaft and adjust during installation.
Installation Notes
- This unit uses the newer clip-style upper driveshaft. If your upper shaft is not the newer style, it must be replaced.
- Use a 1991 or newer prop thrust washer.
