Replacement Lower Unit — Johnson/Evinrude® Magnum & Magnum II (Mag II)
Quality aftermarket gearcase designed as a direct replacement for Magnum II (Mag II) lower units used on select Johnson/Evinrude® outboards. Built to match factory fit and function.
Compatibility Notes
- Direct bolt-on replacement for Magnum II (Mag II).
- If replacing the original Magnum (first generation), you must remove the alignment pins from the new lower unit during installation.

Important Water Pump Kit Info (3.4L Engines)
Our 90-306-01K water pump kit is not a direct replacement for 3.4L engines. The correct kit is OE# 5007972 (available from Evinrude).
If you choose to use 90-306-01K on a 3.4L, complete the following adjustments:
- Do not install the water-tube grommet in the housing.
- Reuse the O-rings from your original water tube.
- Reuse the water-pump housing cover (the plastic tube attached with two screws).
Installation Tips
- Always confirm application by model and serial number before ordering.
- Use OEM-spec gear lube and a new gasket/seal kit at install.
